Jada McAbee

Jada McAbee, CPA

Jada is an alumna of Converse College in Spartanburg, SC where she double majored in Economics and
Finance. She joined the firm in 1998 and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public
Accountants and the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants.
As a shareholder, she helps oversee the audit, tax, and advisory services of the firm, concentrating
primarily on not-for-profit and governmental assurance engagements, as well as corporate and
individual taxation.

In June of 2020, Governor Henry McMaster appointed Jada to the SC Board of Accountancy. She is a
former Board Member of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants and is a Past
President of the Foothills Chapter of the South Carolina Association of Certified Public Accountants. She
has volunteered and served on the Board of Directors of several not-for-profit organizations in the city
of Spartanburg. Jada is currently serving on the Board of Trustees of Converse College and is chairing
the Board of Visitors of Converse College. She serves on the Heart Division of the Spartanburg Regional
Foundation and is a member of the Spartanburg Regional Fellows, class of 2017. She is a member of the
Executive Guild of the Hope Center for Children. Jada is a past President of the St. Luke's Free Medical
Clinic and formerly served as Treasurer for the Junior League of Spartanburg and Ellen Hines Smith Girls'
Home.

Jada's interest outside the office include: attending a weekly Bible study, landscaping her yard, walking
her golden doodle on the local trails in the city and paddling either her kayak or paddleboard.
